52 Million people will visit the Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida this year and only 1% will ever have the opportunity to see this private space nestled in the heart of the Epcot theme park.
This my friends, is the private DVC Member Lounge above the Journey Into Imagination with Figment attraction in Epcot’s Future World.
You may be thinking to yourself, “What in the heck is DVC”? DVC stands for Disney Vacation Club and it’s Disney’s answer to timeshare.
When you buy into DVC you are in essence making a multi year financial commitment to return to the Disney Parks over and over again year after year.
2016 marks the 25th anniversary of Disney Vacation Club and as such, this private lounge located in Epcot will be opening on June 6th to cater to DVC Members and their guests.
Since there is rumored to only be 500,000 DVC Members…and 52 million guests visit the Walt Disney World resort annually…that means only 1% will have the opportunity to step foot in the space.
Unless you are one of the few that has taken the DVC plunge or are a friend of a DVC Member, you won’t have access. Resort Mom was granted a tour of the soon-to-open space recently so let’s take a look around shall we?
Ample seating is provided in bright vibrant colors.
There’s even a spot for the kiddos to relax and take in a Disney Short or play Disney Infinity.
Free soda and coffee are available from the Keurig and Coke Freestyle Machines.
Print out your upcoming boarding passes here.
Use the USB ports to charge your devices while you surf the web on theirs.
